OOTD Shopping

{OOTD} Causal Saturday

Yep, this is another outfit of the day post for you guys! I’m on a roll, huh?

Anyway, pretty much everything in this ootd post was bought on Friday {and yes, it’s all from Dynamite– my favourite clothing store here in Canada!}. I wasn’t sure if the beige cardigan would go with the floral blouse, so I decided to ask my amazing followers on twitter. According to them, it works! But what do you guys think? Does it work? And with the jeans?

Cardigan, Top, Jeans, Belt, and the Bag: Dynamite | Boots: Aldo

I’m actually quite excited to play around with this top {which is sleeveless btw} and cardigan– I can dress them down with a pair of jeans and brown belt, as shown, or I can wear both with a pair of dress pants. What do you think though? I really want YOUR input! Sometimes, it’s hard to put together a decent outfit. It may seem pretty awesome in your head but hey, let’s admit it… it doesn’t always turn out that way, lol. So any thoughts/tips– either positive or negative– are more than welcome!

Daily Life OOTD Shopping

{OOTD} 25TH Birthday!

I can’t believe that yesterday was my 25TH Birthday! Where did time go? It feels like only yesterday it was my 20TH. And now, 25? Wait… shouldn’t I have a real big girl job and a car by now? Does this mean I’ll have to give up buying destroyed denim jeans and American Eagle hoodies?

Probably.

But I’m not gonna! I don’t even look 25! Everyone tells me I look like I’m 20, so I’m sticking to my destroyed denim jeans. Actually, I bought a new pair last night from Dynamite :3

Personally, I like low-key birthdays {like my 24TH birthday last year}. When I lived in Newfoundland, I would always celebrate with all of my friends. Most of the time, we would go out for dinner and then hit up the clubs on George Street. For my 23rd birthday, I rented one of those party buses– we just all drank while driving around in a, erm, snowstorm!

Now? I’m more than happy to just enjoy a nice meal with my fiance, maybe see a few friends here in Ottawa, or go to a comedy club like I did last year. Yesterday was a little more low-key than usual though. I woke up with a pretty bad migraine {weird, since I never get headaches or migraines!} which lingered well into the night. I did manage to do a little shopping though {I’ll post about it later on}. Because I wasn’t feeling so well, Ken just ordered Pizza Hut… and a chocolate chip cookie-dough cake from Baskin Robbins!!!!

Because I haven’t done an OOTD {Outfit of the Day} post in a while, here’s a glimpse of what I wore yesterday. Ignore the bag though {ps- it’s new!}– I’m well aware that it doesn’t go with the outfit, but I just wanted to show it off, lol.

Yes, practically everything I own is from Dynamite! It’s a Canadian store in case some of you American/international readers are scratching your heads! Unfortunately, you can’t order clothes online which really sucks. PS, does anyone need rv financing? Just askin’ ;)

Have a great weekend, you guys!

New Things Shopping

New {Aldo} Wallet

As I mentioned last week, I bought a new wallet from Aldo Accessories not too long ago. I needed a new one badly– well actually, to be honest, I haven’t been using a wallet for over a year now! Uh huh, that’s right… over a year. I was using a little coin purse {I guess that’s what you would call it?} from Coach. It was getting rather annoying though. I need my cards, cash, and coin separated! :3

Purple wallet: Aldo Accessories {$25}

Hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend! :) XO.

{OOTD} Newest Internship

Yesterday, I ended up going to the mall to return a product I bought from Sephora last month. After getting my cash back and browsing around, I decided to pick up a few new items :3

Blouse: Dynamite

Pants: Dynamite

Flats: Spring Shoes

Wallet: Aldo Accessories

Yeah, I’m pretty sure 90% of my closet comes from Dynamite, lol. But I couldn’t pass up the pants! $20! And they fit really nice too :) I’m actually starting a new internship with the government this month, so I needed dressier clothes for that. I feel that this semester is going to be a busy one– two internships, M.A thesis, and a language exam {Russian}. Holy moly!

To complete the look, I used Urban Decay’s Naked palette {which i’m completely obsessed with!}. Colours I used in this look include: Virgin, Sin, Naked, Toasted, and Darkhorse.

Okay, I’m off to fix an early dinner. I think Ken and I are going to try and catch a movie this evening {I love getting movie tickets for Christmas!} :) If we had a home dlp projector, we wouldn’t need to face the bitter cold. -29 degrees? Nooo thank you!

Shopping Haul

Last week, I decided to go on a little shopping spree. It’s been getting pretty cold here in Ottawa lately so I was in need of some warmer clothes :) Check out what I bought…

1. Skinny jeans from AE, 2. Hoodie from AE, 3. Winter coat from AE, 4. Long blazer from Dynamite

5. Stripe top from Dynamite {I’m wearing it in this OOTD}, 6. Floral top from Aritzia

7. False lashes from Sephora,

8. Make-up Forever Mat Velvet Foundation {see my review on this product here}

I had few more Sephora points that I thought and ended up getting this “Clean Cotton Tshirt” perfume. I’ve tried it twice so far and it has a super strong scent… it reminds me more of cologne than anything. So erm, yes, not for me!

Anyway, TGIF! I hope you have a fabulous weekend <3!
