This weekend is all about SEXY HEALTHY HAIR on Fresh-Season.com! I kid you not. I have four hair related posts coming up and I hope you’ll enjoy them all weekend long :) First up, is a new product I recently tried out– John Frieda’s Frizz-Ease Firm-Hold Hairspray!

The majority of the time, I’ll use hairspray. I’m usually curling my hair or teasing it at the roots {to add volume}, so I’ll hairspray to achieve my desired look. Now, I’ve tried several hairsprays out there {Aussie, Big Sexy Hair, Pantene etc.}, but so far, nothing compares to the one I picked up last week by John Frieda.

I hate hairsprays that makes your hair feel crunchy. Ohhh man, do I ever hate that feeling! I also hate strong smelling hairsprays. I don’t want to walk into a store– three hours after I did my hair– and make everyone gag from the strong scent of my hair products. I need something that gives a firm-hold, yet soft {or even semi-soft} to touch, a decent scent, and cheap {hehe}.

John Frieda’s Frizz-Ease firm-hold hairspray does juuuust that folks.

“Quick-drying, firm-holding power supports even the hardest-to-handle styles all day long. Forms a barrier around hair strands to help seal out moisture and prevent frizzing in any weather conditions. Shine-boosting formula also contains sunscreen.”

While it does fight off frizzy-ness, I don’t really see any added shine from this product. For me, the big seller was that it didn’t smell bad, it holds my hair in place, and it doesn’t make it crunchy. I actually got this on sale, at Shoppers DrugMart, for $6 {excelleeeent!} but I think it’s usually around the $12CAD range.
